• Views on the potential impact on marketing of changes in how people are taking their consumption decisions

In this blog post Alan Mitchell outlines his developing views on how conventional marketing practice is being made less effective. At the same time a potentially huge new market is developing that is being largely overlooked. This is due to a coming together of two factors: the difficulties that many consumers have when taking their consumption decisions, and the impact of technology in helping them to improve this process.

This is giving rise to a new market in information, tools and services to help people make better decisions.
