As the members' survey revealed that many of you would like to be able to attend events but cannot due to time, money or distance we are trying something new.
The venue is to be Spectrum Viewing Facilities, 25 Gloucester Place, London W1U 8HT as they have Focus Vision. By using Focus Vision we will be able to link-in those not able to travel to the event.
Cost will be £20 for those attending the meeting at Spectrum to include refreshments and lunch and £20 for those wanting to access via Focus Vision. £25 for non-members for either one.
We will only go ahead with Focus Vision if we get sufficient numbers of people wanting to link-in as we have to pay for the facility - we need a minimum of 20 people (I have negotiated a good deal). Once you have committed to linking-in remotely you will be liable to pay the £20, even if you find that for whatever reason you have missed linking-in, as we still have to pay. Works on PCs and Macs - UK and internationally. It's also archived for watching later = but we'd still like to know from you in advance to see if we have sufficient numbers.
