ICG AGM and Mark Earls as our guest speaker

Friday 18th September 2009

Spectrum Viewing Facilities or online with Focus Vision

Our next event combines the AGM and "a not to be missed" speaker Mark Earls. 12 noon for 12:30pm for the AGM and Mark at 12:45pm.

The following biography demonstrates why his talk must not be missed!

Mark Earls has been a planner for more than half his life but now works independently out of London under the banner of HERD Consulting. Prior to this, Mark held the top job in agencies such as St Luke's and Ogilvy where he was Chair of the Global Planning Council. His influential book "HERD" proposes a radical model of mass behaviour = one rooted in our "Herd" or social selves - which encourages all of us to rethink what we do, to move from "me" to "we", if you like. The book has won much applause, being described as "like Malcolm Gladwell on Speed" (by the Guardian) and a "must read" by a number of other folks. It will be available for sale at £9.99 which represents a 40% discount on the day, so bring your cheque books or apply to Andy Laing for a copy of the book. Mark has won a number of awards for his thinking and writing and regularly speaks at conferences.
