Background
I have 15 years "Client side" experience with two of the World's leading multi national agrochemical R&D based manufacturers, Dow Chemicals and Hoechst/ AgrEvo UK Ltd.
A career which covered roles in:
- Technical Product development
- Market Research Management
- Multiple brand Marketing management.
A further 6 years "Agency side" experience followed as a Divisional Director of Promar International's global survey based market research and consulting arm, for the agri input supply sector. As Divisional Director I was involved the management of Field work, Data entry, Coding, Data processing, Computing and Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing departments.
The role, also included involvement a wide range of studies for both private and regulatory bodies involving ad-hoc, syndicated and continuous panel based research methodologies.
Key activities also included the development of innovative web based delivery tools for client access to research data.
Research work was conducted across the UK and other main EU countries as well as China and Japan. I was responsible for Asia business development with the management of the Beijing office(6 Chinese nationals) together with account management with key agri-input suppliers based in those regions.
Committee member of the Food, Drink and Agriculture (FDA) Group of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
