Background

Katherine is the founder of Passerieu Consulting, an independent Consultancy on market research and strategy. Prior to that, Katherine was a Director at forward thinking inc., a Strategy Consultancy, which she joined from GfK NOP, a global research company where she spent five years as Director of Brand Strategy. Whilst at GfK, Katherine had formed a Joint Venture with forward thinking, converting research results into actionable insights and producing the actual brand positioning and communication strategy with the forward thinking team, thus providing the complete brand strategy package to clients. Prior to joining GfK NOP Katherine was Managing Director of Censydiam UK, an agency renowned for its advances in psychodynamic research and needs based segmentation, and was working for Cram International the leading global research agency in consumer psychology on their French-based projects. Before that Katherine spent eleven years at TNS (Taylor Nelson Sofres, now part of WPP), as Qualitative and International Director.
Katherine’s previous experience was in Advertising and Strategic Design, being Research and Planning Director at Ted Bates in Paris before becoming European Research Director at Landor in London. Over her twenty five year career, Katherine has worked for a diversity of clients in a range of industry sectors. Katherine has a BA in English and an MA in Sociology from the Sorbonne University in Paris. She has lived in the UK for 20 years and is a member of the Market Research Society, ESOMAR, the Institute of Directors and the Independent Consultants Group.
