Knowledge, News and Views from the ICG - November 2017
This month we are starting a debate to define 'insight' - what is it, how can you spot it,
when do we know that we have delivered it? Given that our industry is in a state of flux, this question is perhaps critical to us all - so please do contribute to the debate and post your views.
We also have some hints about how to manage and expand your network effectively, as well as a think piece about whether and how effectively we actually communicate with people.
In the run up to GDPR next year, we are seeing increasing numbers of courses and talks on this issue. We know that this is an issue for members, so we will publish as many of these as is relevant on our events page. As well as news about the ICO's new helpline aimed at small businesses, we also have two events - one from Future Learning and one from the MRS. The ICG's Ian Murray is speaking at the next State of the Nation event looking at the latest behavioural research about anger.
Welcome to our new members, and don't forget that all ICG members have free access to GoToMeeting
Don't forget we have a 'Go To' licence if you want to have a video conference or present a webinar. It is there for you, so do use it! Just drop Lucie an email firstname.lastname@example.org
