My background is in financial research; I looked after consumer research for HSBC before moving to agency side.

I have undertaken more interviews with IFAs and seriously wealthy people than I care to remember, as well as customer satisfaction studies, NPD and brand positioniong work.

I understand finance and the way financial markets and products work and I bring  a great deal of knowledge and experience to every piece I work on - Added Value.


My research career started with (Midland Bank) HSBC in the 80s, commissioning projects and managing the relation with agencies and internal clients.  When I left HSBC in 2003 I was heading up the Bank's consumer research team of 7 project managers.

I then joined Outlook Research as Qualitative Director where I spread my wings to cover more sectors, including automotive, utilities, transport, mobile communications etc.  

In 2005 I moved to 20/20 Research as Senior Account Director, responsible for all the work of a senior quallie, and also overseeing the company's CATI operation.

In 2009 I formed my own business, Prevision Research, to operate the CATI business and I also started to operate in my own right as Martin Walls Research.
