Speciality

There are two sides to our business, the first is bespoke field services.  We have a network of recruiters accross the country, and can find you respondents of all types to take part in your projects.  We have worked on everything from straightforward focus groups to iteritive methodologies to ethnography and experiential, with over 15 years of experience. 

We also offer qualitative videography and bridge the gap between researcher and video producucer.  Because of our background in qual research, we have a good grasp on research objectives and can work independently to a brief to bring to life your research, and delight your clients.

Background

I started out in research at Viewpoint Field as a trainee field exec learning about qual and quant from the frontline, from there I moved onto Fieldworks where I spent 2 years focussing on Quant Field Management before following my mentor Colin Butcher to 2CV research.

Initially at 2CV I worked across both Qual and Quant field management before deciding to focus on Qual. I worked my way up to Head of UK Qual Field in my almost 8 happy years at 2CV before deciding to move on to pastures new (excuse the DREADFUL pun) and form The Field with my colleague and friend Laura Wiggins.

Laura started her career in research at 2CV where she trained as a researcher, and while on that journey discovered a love for visual story telling.  That was the path she decided to persue, from voxpops to video ethnography and everything in between, she has created a niche offering that brings the consumer to the boardroom in a compelling way for clients.
