  1. B2B qualitative research.  I have a particular expertise in complex and intermediated markets - some with a B2C element as well, such as financial services, insurance (and navigational software).
  2. B2C qualitative research.  With my background as an account planner working in all areas of communication I have the experience required both to conduct the research and (usually) get buy-in to the results from creative teams.
  3. I am also a qualified business and life coach.


My core speciality these days is talking to senior business people about serious business issues.  Often on camera.


I've worked in both qual and quant agencies as well as spending 5 years in brand management.  However most of my career has been spent in advertising and communications agencies as a planner.  I set up my own business in January 2000.  Nowadays I mostly conduct B2B qualitative research, but still use my planning and creative development skills from time to time.
