A specialist in Qualitative research, with experience across FMCG, Retail & Shopper, Advertising & Comms, Consumer Closeness and with a real interest & expertise speaking to teens and young adults.

Coming from a family of market researchers I've been involved in and around market research from a young age, with some saying it's in my blood. After completing a BSC in Psychology at the University of Nottingham, I chose to pursue a career in research and have never looked back. I feel genuinely fortunate to work in such an exciting, varied, and fast-paced industry.

Having gained experience during my A-Levels and time at University in the operational side of the industry (recruitment, fieldwork and facilities), I began my research career as a Quantitative Researcher working on a range of methodologies from concept product tests to conjoint analysis and segmentations, before seeing the light and moving to Qualitative research.

As a particularly nosy person I love nothing more than spending time speaking to and getting to know people, understanding their motivations and behaviours and particularly enjoy interviewing in-home and having a good rummage through respondents' cupboards. In fact I find it difficult not to interview friends and family on product choices and usage which has got me into trouble with them on occasions!

After 10 years in London at Research International, TNS, Spring Research and most recently Razor Research, I have made the big move back North where I have set up Full Colour Research with the desire to evolve and modernise traditional methods of research to make them fit for today and the future.

In 2016 I was elected onto the AQR board.
