Simon Ashworth - Futuresight

All aspects of qualitative research, with a particular strength and expertise in group moderation, across all B2B and consumer audiences.  I am just as happy to work in a supportive role as I am to take the lead on a project.

Qualitative research among B2B and consumers in the following markets:

Financial services.

Information Technology.

In 1993, I set up Gabriel Ashworth Ltd, a full-service research agency, and then in 2014 joined with Robert Waddington to set up Futuresight Business Intelligence Limited.

I am steeped in regulatory and competition issues, having worked on major, high profile qualitative projects for Ofcom, the Phone-Paid Services Authority, the Advertising Standards Authority and the Communications Consumer Panel.  Key subjects relate to the impact of new technology on consumer and business markets, advertising standards, digital participation and consumer harm.

I also have considerable experience of qualitative work with blue chip corporates in the Finance and Technology sectors.  I have, for example, worked extensively on major projects for Lloyds Banking Group and Scottish Widows since 2005 and for Intel on an almost continuous basis since 1993.

I have a First-class degree in Psychology and am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and Certified Member of the Market Research Society.
