I am an experienced presenter and facilitator and regularly present to clients at debriefs and workshops as well as pitch to win new business.

I can be flexible in terms of how I work; I’m able to manage projects independently from start to finish or act as a project consultant to help advise and support the project whether it be in designing the approach, conducting research or interpreting findings into actionable insights.

Speciality

I am particularly passionate about customer journey research and have experience working for a range of brands and organisations helping them to understand and improve their customer experience. I am adept at using a range of methodologies in this area such as mobile ethnogrpahy as well as customer journey mapping techniques to gain insight into consumer emotions, behaviours and experiences.

Background

I have over ten years of agency-side experience working for a diverse range of clients both private and public sector including L’Oreal, The Body Shop, Samsung, Virgin Media, Kraft, PepsiCo, Southern Water, Bupa, HMRC and Sport England. Projects have involved communication evaluation, NPD, packaging design, ad campaign testing, customer closeness, behaviour change, customer journeys, brand re-positioning and innovation.

I began my career in 2002 as a fieldwork manager which sparked my curiosity to learn more about consumer behaviour and train as a researcher. An opportunity presented to work for The Futures Company (previously Henley Centre Headlight Vision) where I spent 5 years acquiring my skillset as a qualiative researcher and becoming a strong strategic thinker able to develop frameworks and actionable recommendations. After progressing to Senior Consultant I left to join Relish Research as Account Director. At this boutique agency I developed client relationships working closely with them as research partners, helping them uncover fresh insight to help their bsuinesses grow.

In 2016 I relocated from London to Bournemouth and began working as a freelancer. In this time I have worked on a variety of projects in which I have both run projects independently and worked with research teams. Projects have included online user journey optimisation for The Open University, LeasePlan and CompareTheMarket.com whilst in a 3 month contract for a UX agency and several international FMCG projects for a Spanish agency regarding concept development and packaging.
