Lorraine established UK based consultancy, Freelance Marketing Ltd, in 1998 and has successfully contributed to diverse projects with a wide cross section of clients, in both the pubic and private sectors.

Adept at gaining customer insights and setting these in a wider market context, against the backdrop of underlying trends, Lorraine is able to bring a strategic marketing focus to projects. This includes working with blue chip companies and SMEs, at varying stages of development.

Companies have included Hallmark, P&G and major high street & food retailers, as well as B2B manufacturers, such as Perstorp (now part of the Formica group) and The Northern Foods Group.  Public sector clients include NHS Trusts, educational establishments and social housing providers.

Lorraine has written numerous reports for leading market report publishers, covering B2B/industrial markets such as housebuilding, building products, merchants, timber & joinery, bathrooms & kitchens, flooring and health & safety, for example. She has also been published in her own right in a leading academic journal on Qualitative Research.
