Louise believes firmly in the power of research to make positive change happen – helping to create an environment where people have the information they need to be motivated and can see their opportunity to make a real difference.

Louise has more than 20 years’  business and social research experience.  Having worked for a number of international research agencies, including as a Commercial Director of GfK (now part of Ipsos Mori). Here she gained a detailed understanding of the commercial and not-for-profit sectors, working with everyone from board level to the shop floor and from operations to HR.

In 2007, Louise completed an MA in Coaching and Mentoring Practice and, after a month travelling India on a motorbike, set up her own micro-business – Research Oxford. During this time, the company has developed an impressive track record, providing research and evaluation to clients in Oxfordshire and further afield. Louise uses her coaching skills to deliver engaging and action-focused consultancy and also provides career coaching under the brand name Coaching Oxford.

Louise puts community engagement and social value at the heart the business. She helped develop and is a member of ROBIN, the Responsible Oxfordshire Business Involvement Network, and is a trustee of Restore, a charity working for mental health in Oxfordshire.

Away from the world of research, Louise loves the outdoors, motorcycling and the odd drop of real ale.
