I am a qualitative researcher with over seventeen years in the industry. I left Kantar Public as a Senior Associate Director to start Lighthouse Research & Consultancy in 2014. Throughout my career I have worked across a range of sectors and clients. I started out as a generalist and then spent the last part of my career working in social research and have particular expertise in projects that are more sensitive or include more ‘hard to reach’ audiences. A lot of the work I do involves behaviour change and I’m a strong advocate for behavioural economics and bringing that into research.
I am still a generalist and very happy to spend a day talking to people about ice cream but I am best known for helping with projects that are more complex and delve deep into changing social issues – childhood obesity, dementia diagnosis, empowering patients, hate crime, modern slavery….
I work with charities, think tanks, government departments and other research, advertisting and PR agencies. I love to collaborate so please get in touch if you would like to know more about the work I do or if you have a project about ice cream! (especially if that involves eating the ice cream)
