Kaleidoscope provides qualitative and quantitative research both domestically and internationally.

The majority of our work is full service but we also provide support resource such as report writing, presentations, moderation and questionnaire design.

We pride ourselves on being pro-active and flexible. We design projects utilising all the standard research techniques as appropriate but, increasingly, we find that we are using online solutions to meet our clients’ needs.

We get a real buzz from communicating research results in a clear, action-oriented and thought provoking way.


We work across a wide range of sectors particularly focusing on consumer research in retail, npd, fmcg, media, utilities, not for profit and leisure sectors


Prior to setting up Kaleidoscope, my training ground has been in large agencies:

  • 4 years in Taylor Nelson’s Ad Hoc Consumer Division
  • After this I moved to NOP/GFK, where I worked for 9 years. As a senior Director I managed a busy ad hoc team as well as being heavily involved in the running of the division and staff development

Within the large agency environment I found myself being drawn further into management and away from research. So in 2001 I decided to go back to doing what I love – “hands-on” research and working closely with my clients.

I’ve been volunteering for the Samaritans for 12 years now and feel that this has been invaluable training in improving my listening skills and ensuring I take an open-minded approach –  which I find is not only essential for qualitative moderation and analysis but also in day to day communication.
