Market research hooked me in when I started a holiday job doing quantitative telephone interviewing. After realising the whole thing would be a lot more interesting if I could make up my own questions, I joined Millward Brown Qual unit. There I specialised in childrens’, advertising and brand work. I moved to Directions, where I progressed to Board Director, whilst honing skills in brand strategy, NPD and retail. I set up as an independent in 2004 and since then have broadened my skills to include web development, usability & online research methodologies, as well as enjoying more social & third sector projects.
