Services

I provide flexible research support to agencies and stakeholders across a range of projects and needs. I particularly enjoy working with clients who are new to research and are looking for a safe, experienced pair of hands to guide them through the process. With experience building and establishing Qualitative departments, I take pride in leading and managing projects end-to-end, while also being happy to step in as a consultant on specific stages where extra expertise is needed.

Moderation is a particular passion of mine, and I’m always glad to join a team to support this, whether face-to-face or online. I’m based in East London/Essex and can also step in to support with analysis and reporting when teams are busy or need additional capacity.

I can support in the following ways:

  • Lead and deliver qualitative research projects end-to-end

  • Provide qualitative project support, including moderation (online or in-person), analysis and reporting

  • Support quantitative projects, including writing or sense-checking questionnaires and surveys, charting data, and building reports

  • Conduct research with Bengali and Muslim communities – I am fluent in Bengali and can recruit and moderate in the language when needed

About

I began my career in research as a Mystery Shopping Project Coordinator in my first “proper” job after university. From there, I trained as a Qualitative Researcher at several agencies, gaining strong foundations in qualitative methods while also building experience in quantitative research along the way. I later spent nine years at Global Radio, where I led and managed all qualitative research projects in-house from end to end. After nearly a decade working within the media sector, I decided to move into the freelance world to broaden my experience and collaborate with clients across a wider range of sectors.

I particularly enjoy creative research, including testing communications, websites, apps and shopper experiences. I’m also passionate about ensuring the voices of people from minority backgrounds are represented in research. As someone who is Bangladeshi and fluent in Sylheti, I have a strong connection with Bengali communities and can engage participants who may feel more comfortable speaking in their first language.

I’m always keen to grow my network and connect with fellow ICG members. I live in East London with my husband and our three boys, and would love to connect over Zoom or in person around London or Essex.
