Bloom offers a mix of qualitative insight across sectors and employee/stakeholder coaching and relationship building. I use a range of qual, coaching and psychotherapy techniques, designed to unlock the emotions leading to insight, to support clients in decision-making. I have a diverse range of strategic research experience gained over 25 years, both agency and client-side. Combining this with corporate coaching, I'm able to see projects from multiple viewpoints, honing in on what stakeholders need. I've worked across social, retail, media and FMCG sectors, and more recently B2B in the areas of evolving tech and data/information needs. I'm flexible, positive and motivated, love working with other freelance colleagues and sharing perspectives, and I ask the kind of questions upfront in a project that lead to clear and actionable outcomes.
I am equally happy delivering full qual projects or playing a more supporting role.
About
I began my career in academic research in the areas of primary care health (University of Manchester) and then education (at UCL), moving into social research at Ipsos MORI, before taking a year off to travel the world. Since then, I've worked both client-side, at COI and the BBC, and agency-side, at TNS and latterly as a Director at Truth. I have freelanced for the last 11 years in market research, while also running my corporate coaching business, focusing on marketing and market research agencies. I enjoy working with a diverse range of colleagues and clients, always learning new things!
I have lived in Hove for the last 10 years and love being in the natural landscape, while still easily connected to clients in London and beyond. I'm happily married and my husband and I spend our spare time cycling in local countryside lanes and around France, walking on the South Downs and growing veg at our allotment. I'm currently trying to improve my French and Italian language skills.
