I help clients make faster and better business decisions, based on a blend of consumer insight and commercial understanding.

Services

I have been working in the research industry for 30 years, with the last 20 years spent leading client-side research teams on brands such as Evian, Hovis, Quaker and Lipton  Ice Tea. As a result, I've got experience of most aspects of market research and how to unpick business questions across all elements of the marketing mix. In addition, I've led cross functional workstreams to develop both annual and strategic plans.

I've designed research plans across multiple markets covering:

  • All aspects of the marketing mix, including pack/price architecture
  • Qual and Quant research
  • Continuous data analytics - both EPOS data (e.g. Nielsen) and Household Panel data
  • Consumer and Shopper insights

Working client side has ensured I bring a strong commercial focus to all my projects and an understanding of how to land the outcomes within an organisation to deliver a business impact.

I am curious by nature and like to challenge a brief to ensure it is well thought through as I'm a strong believer in the benefit of having a tightly defined business question ahead of any research.
