I offer a range of market research and data analysis services, mainly to the public and not-for-profit sectors. I’m based in the heart of Northern England, nestled between the rolling hills of Pennine Lancashire and the Yorkshire Dales.

Market research – from online surveys to full scale fieldwork, quantitative and qualitative methods, no market research project is too big or small, working with reliable fieldwork and print providers to ensure projects are delivered on budget.

Evaluation – support at the formative stage to put an evaluation framework in place through to undertaking the research and analysis needed to evidence the impact projects and programmes are having.

Consultation – whether it’s some advice and guidance on how to consult or someone to deliver an independent consultation exercise in the public sector, I have the experience to help.

Project support and consultancy – I offer general day rate support for projects of all shapes and sizes, with a wide range of research, analytical and project management skills, along with senior manager experience.


I worked in the public sector for the best part of a decade. I built up experience at metropolitan, unitary and district councils across the North West. Most recently I was head of a partnership-come-traded-service, delivering research and consultation projects for public sector customers.

In 2018, I decided to set up on my own because I want to help more organisations gain a deeper understanding of their business, customers, community and workforce. I want to offer a service I can be proud of. To add real value to my customers. To share what I know with others, and learn what I don’t.

At the same time I’m not losing sight of the things that matter in life. So the jump means I’m spending more time with my wife, more time with our dogs and more time enjoying where I live.
