Corky & Co. was founded in 1990 after being employed in academic psychological research and in a top London advertising agency - BMP.
Corky undertakes full service, or moderation only, B2B and B2C qualitative research projects.

Corky & Co is a highly experienced in-depth qualitative research consultancy, working in both B2B and B2C sectors, providing a flexible, helpful and friendly service. I have previously worked as an academic research psychologist, and in advertising.

I enjoy a challenge, and I'm empathetic, creative and intuitive, diligent, and strong on insight and analysis.

I like making people feel relaxed, and I enjoy talking about potentially sensitive subjects such as obesity, sanpro, sex, legacies etc.

Clients tell me that I'm very enjoyable and fun to work with, which always helps!

Nowadays my work is increasingly moving towards depth interviews - B2B, and with clients of clients, and B2C.

Client perception, for example - is something which needs to be undertaken by an independent researcher, rather attempting to do it 'in-house', in order to obtain the most honest and open feedback, and with consumers.

I also partner with international research organisations in France, Germany, Spain, and the USA.

About

About me - I have always wanted to enjoy my life both in and out of work - it's so important and so lucky if you can achieve that.

Qualitative research suits me very well.  Whatever the topic, it's never boring!  I also enjoy the project nature of research because there is a beginning, a middle and an end.  Finding creative ways to allow people to freely express their feelings and perceptions, without fear or embarrassment, is fun.

And it's great working with clients who also enjoy working with me!  Such a bonus.

Personally, I am a bit of a country bumpkin and I love my dog walks, nature and the countryside.  I have been a tractor driver, a window cleaner, a shop assistant, a chambermaid, bar staff, a novice diving instructor, a junior school teacher and a receptionist in an aesthetics clinic (now that was a bit of an eye-opener!).

I aspire to be an author of fiction - for children and for adults.  I have several works in progress!

My pet hate is litter, particularly in the countryside.
