Founder Helen Osborne is fluent across all qualitative research methodologies, traditional and digital. We especially love to run ethnographic studies and produce creative deliverables including video and inspiring and vivid reports.

Background

Helen is a dynamic independent qualitative researcher and moderator with twelve years experience. An empathetic individual, Helen quickly builds rapport with respondents, colleagues and clients alike. Her innate curiosity and passion for people and culture, together with an analytical mind, make her a natural researcher. Throughout the years Helen has conducted hundreds of focus groups, in home interviews and ethnography studies. She is equally comfortable in the online realm, possessing extensive knowledge and experience with purpose-built research platforms, online communities and focus groups. Prior to working independently, Helen worked in London for six years where she ran multi-country research projects for brands such as Samsung, UBS, Vodafone and Sony PlayStation. Upon returning to Australia Helen has worked extensively in the automotive, tertiary education, telecommunications and superannuation sectors. As a researcher, Helen has worked by three core values: with rigour – that the insights generation process is thorough and reliable; report with clarity and flair – reports are engaging and easy to follow; with respect for stakeholders – building sustainable and fair relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues. She has completed the MRS Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research Practice (UK) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) from the University of Melbourne.
