Julia's main focus is providing strategic brand and comms qualitative research.  She works across all stages of the planning cycle, from exploring consumer needs and brand positioning through to exploring creative territories and executional ideas.  Using a wealth of both online and face to face methodologies (groups, depths, online self reporting, consumer workshops, client workshops)

Background

Julia has over 25 years qualitative experience.  Previously worked at Illuminas, and more recently at Hall & Partners, heading up their qualitative team in the London office.  She now runs her own agency, Compton+Dean, since 2016.   Much of the research Julia has done has been global, working across a range of clients including FMCG, retail, insurance, travel, luxury, consumer healthcare, financial, media and technology, and including wide ranging audiences (consumer, B2B).
