The Word Is Out was established in 2019, combining 25 years of my qualitative research expertise with my step son, Dan Parker-Smith's, film and video production skills.  Having worked both client side and agency side across a variety of sectors including retail, fmcg and finance, we recognised the challenges agencies and clients face, in trying to land insight with real impact to make positive change. We therefore decided to set up our own business as we wanted to put visual storytelling at the heart of consumer insight.  Our key aim is to deliver true insights in an engaging and impactful way so that business decisions can be made with confidence.
