I have over thirty years experience in research, including a six year spell as Head of Research and Insight at Shell UK and before that Director of two leading international research consultancies. After becoming an independent consultant in 1997, I served as Chairman of the ICG from 2000 to 2006 and after that was elected to serve on the main board of the UK Market Research Society. In 2019, I was nominated and awarded a Fellowship to the Market Research Society, in recognition of services provided and commitment towards the UK research and insights industry.
I am a long standing member of the research associations such as BIG and ESOMAR; marketing focussed bodies such as the Marketing Society and the Mature Marketing Association, and trade body the Federation of Small Business.
