Services

Kathryn set up KMC Research in 2019 having worked for various education focused social and market research companies for many years. She has 20 years experience of leading and delivering research and evaluation projects for clients including the Department for Education, the Careers & Enterprise Company, and Young Enterprise. Kathryn prides herself on delivering high-quality research that meets the needs of clients. She is a highly experienced project manager and mixed methods researcher and evaluator; regularly leading multi-method research and evaluation projects for a range of clients.

As an education specialist Kathryn understands schools, teachers and the context in which they operate. She regularly undertakes depth interviews and focus groups with both teachers and school leaders. Recently, she has undertaken interviews with teachers on a range of topics including COVID-19, use of education technology and their views on a new book offer for reception children. She has recently led a project for the Careers & Enterprise Company to explore independent training providers approach to the provision of careers education and IAG.
