I’m a Taunton-based freelance consultant with over twenty years’ experience in stakeholder engagement, consultation and inclusion across health, social care, voluntary and private sectors. Formal or statutory consultations and community engagement work in healthcare are my favourite things!

Services

I'm a freelance consultant based in Somerset. I offer the following services:

• Engagement: Stakeholder engagement, training, strategies, working with people and communities: inclusive and trauma-informed engagement approaches.
• Consultation: analysis, reporting, and whole-cycle consultation project work, particularly qualitative analysis.
• Facilitation: Always happy to offer virtual or in-person facilitation of community engagement or coproduction events.

Most of my work has been in healthcare and diverse communities, but I've also worked across the voluntary sector, social care and infrastructure projects.  I am also a member of the Consultation Institute.

Recent clients include: NHS Foundation Trusts and Integrated Care Systems and Boards; Care Quality Commission; Nursing and Midwifery Council; local authorities including Wakefield Council and Somerset County Council; DEFRA, Lower Thames Crossing, A66/Trans-Pennine programme; VCSE including Rethink, Mind, Women's Aid and Age UK.

I'm also part of the Better Decisions Together collective.

In my spare time I am a Trustee for Taunton Women's Aid and also a Charitable Funds Manager for a private company. I also love the westcountry coast and my two white rabbits.
