I have a first class degree in Mathematics and Statistics, and started my career as a secondary Maths teacher. After realising this was not the right career path for me, I discovered market research, and have been working in this field for over ten years. My analytical and interpersonal skills mean that I am well suited to both qualitative and quantitative studies, and have spent much of my time working on large, mixed method projects, brining together multiple methodologies to help better understand human behaviour, particularly in the Retail and FMCG sectors.
Outside work, I like to play netball, read, and have two young children who keep me busy. My youngest child is profoundly deaf, which has led me to begin a new journey learning BSL, and I am now a keen campaigner for raising deaf awareness, and supporting local families through volunteering to run the Leeds Deaf Children's Society. I love any opportunities to work with clients that promote similar values of accessibility and inclusivity.
