My name is David, I'm 53 years old and I am an Italian psychologist, based in Milan, specializing in healthcare market qualitative research.

After 13 years of work at the top Italian healthcare market research institutes - such as IMS Health, Kantar Health and MediPragma -, in 2012 I have decided to become a freelance.

About

My cultural background is social psychology: I got a bachelor in Industrial Psychology in 1997 and specialized in Communication and Marketing. Since 1998 I am a licensed psychologist.  

I started my career in 1999 as a freelance  moderator for different market research institutes covering several research areas, then I realized that pharmaceutical / healthcare market was my favourite area.

From 2001 I worked for 10 years as internal qualitative researcher and then research director in the most important Italian healthcare market research institutes: PiTRE Pharma (acquired in 2005 by IMS Health, now IQVIA); Kantar Health; Medi-Pragma. After a short experience with Carlo Erminero - one of the fathers of market research in Italy -, in 2012 I decided to become a freelance and I started working for Italian and international healthcare market research institutes.

In the last 10 years I also collaborated with STEM Healthcare (INIZIO Group), a global healthcare auditing agency, first as fieldworker and trainer, then as project manager.

During these 25 years, I acquired extensive experience with different research techniques as well as with several therapeutic areas, including rare diseases, innovative drugs such as CAR-T and bispecifics, medical devices, animal health, dental products.
