Clarke21 is a boutique consultancy run by former senior client sider. Creates innovative insights products (Shelf Sense and Crowd Current) and freelances around studying to become a Behavioural Scientist.

Services

I am a client sider by training and it shows.  I work to deliver recommendations grounded in evidence and the commercial realities of the business in order to drive profit.  Clarke21 has two sides.

Firstly I develop research 'products' which are sold direct to clients or through partnerships with other consultants / businesses.  Shelf Sense is an at-shelf, in-store, video at scale product which captures decision making at point of  purchase and combines it with small scale quant to produce recommendations based on data, behavioural science and consumer psychology.  The Platform is suitable for video research (e.g consumer diaries, pre-tasks, and bringing customer insights to life at scale). Crowd Current is launching soon...

I also offer short term freelance support to businesses who need a heavyweight insights / behavioural specialist with vast experience of complex businesses and stakeholders.  And a broad experience of project types (innovation, NPD, pricing, UX, brand stretch, fusing quant and browsing data, advertising research, CX etc) and management.

About

I combine rigorous thinking with an upbeat outlook on life.

I am currently pursuing an MSc in Behavioural Science at LSE. Because I love insights and wanted to 'stack  my skills' to include a more thorough understanding of / an approach which incorporates cutting edge behavioural science.  I chose LSE because it goes deep on the analytics and methodologies (including synthetic data and AI approaches). It has  also given me  the opportunity to delve deeper into more general consumer psychology and the science of dialog / communications which all ties in brilliantly with the core subject.  I am also (to my surprise) nurturing an interest in corporate behavioural science research and development, to encourage a happy productive workforce.

I am absolutely comfortable working with qual & quant (I write a mean survey, there are better people to moderate groups), my strengths are understanding the commercial environments, and making recommendations which work with the business and innovative, critical thinking.
