My company InOpinia develops the IO platform, an all-in-one solution for qualitative market research that integrates AI-powered online communities, interviews and focus groups through videoconference, and AI analysis tools to streamline the research process.

IO combines three seamlessly integrated components:

• Online Communities AI-powered with support for both short and long-term research with diverse activities (surveys, media reactions, heatmaps, diaries), real-time analytics, multilingual support with AI translation, and AI-assisted moderation that suggests responses based on context and research goals.
• Vidio offers flexible integration with bespoke or existing videoconferencing tools (Zoom, Teams, Meet...), virtual observer spaces with invisible backrooms, automated logistics management, interactive participant activities, and instant synchronized transcriptions.
• AI-Powered Analysis processes data from multiple sources (interviews, focus groups, communities, surveys), generates insights through predefined or custom analyses, enables cross-project analysis to identify broader trends, extracts key quotations with video clips when available, and provides an interactive chat interface to explore insights conversationally.

About

I'm Nestor, a software developer with a PhD in Astrophysics who found his way into market research technology. I'm passionate about creating tools that help people in their research, saving them time and helping them find insights. Integrating these research tools into a platform where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts is something I enjoy immensely, especially when I see people benefiting from this work.

My current work focuses primarily on AI, a subject I've been interested in for years. I aim to delegate the tedious parts of the market research process to AI while preserving the most interesting aspects for researchers 🙂

Outside of work, I consider myself a respectful person who tries to help others as much as possible. I hope these values translate into my professional approach as well.
