Overview

Executive (development and leadership) coaching aimed at improving performance and wellbeing in the workplace. The coaching is informed by a background in research, an empathetic approach, and can be commissioned by an organisation or an individual.

Services

I offer 1:1 tailored executive coaching. The goal of the coaching is to help an individual improve their performance and wellbeing in the workplace. My approach is person-centered and I am not tied to any specific models or tools but work with the needs of the client. The coaching can be commissioned by an organisation or individually.

Coming from a background in food science, qualitative research, product testing, management, consultancy, and research and development, the coaching practice is informed by excellent listening and questioning skills, an empathetic approach, expert knowledge of business structures and processes, and an understanding of the context and demands of many sectors and roles and all levels of organisational hierarchy.

Having been an ICG member for over 20 years means I understand the challenges of being an independent researcher as well as those of larger agencies, and of course am very familiar with the general context of research and insight.

About

Educated and trained as a food scientist, my early career was focused on food analysis and sensory testing. Later, I gained experience in market research and consumer testing. I founded Carol Raithatha Ltd. in 2003 after completing an MBA and gaining experience working for a food and drink research agency. Currently, I am a certified member of the MRS, and a member of the AQR, as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Food Science and Technology. I love languages and travelling and have a good conversational and comprehension level of French and Italian. A few years ago I was doing a lot of writing and completed a Certificate in Food Journalism. My current focus is coaching and to move this forwards I achieved an ILM Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring and am a member of the Association for Coaching. In my spare time I enjoy reading, walking, yoga, and writing poetry.
