Director, Firebrand Insight


Andy Booth has c. 30 years' research experience across agency, consultancy and corporate environments.  He has managed research departments clientside, and has held Director-level appointments at MSB (Managing The Service Business), Marketing Direction Ltd., and at Circle Research.


Firebrand Insight is an insights-based consultancy providing high quality direction and focus for discerning service-sector clients worldwide.

Firebrand specialises in the finance, travel, hospitality, transportation and logistics sectors and also has significant experience in the not-for-profit area.  We are well equipped to undertake research in any B2B or B2C environment.  Additionally we have great experience in change-management areas and in employee research.

Firebrand Insight work is truly global.  We have developed a talented cadre of associates who work with us in all key markets.

Founders Andy Booth and Andrew Smith each have over thirty years of experience in research - on both agency and the client-sides of the industry.  Andy Booth has managed global research functions at British Airways, DHL and UPS, and spent seven years as Research Director of a leading change management consultancy. He is an Advisory Board Member of Imperial College Business School (MSc Strategic Marketing), and a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts.

Outside of work my passions are the honing of grandparental skills, walking unfeasibly long distances, singing (both with and without a guitar), and the sport of the Gods, rugby union.  Philewise, I would choose Italo-, biblio- and oeno-.  I love people and good company.
