Services
During its successful 12 year tenure, Collaborate Research UK provided policy-focused research and consultancy services to a variety of public sector and not-for-profit organisations throughout the UK. We have now moved our operation back to Monique's birthplace, Australia.
Collaborate delivers full service projects as well as consultancy advice and project support in specific areas. We have extensive experience in:
- Qualitative research of all types
- Engaging with hard-to-reach and vulnerable audiences
- Deliberative methods including citizens' juries
- Mixed method research (e.g. projects combining qualitative and quantitative methods or primary and secondary research)
- Applying learning from behavioural economics to research
- Report writing to publishable standards
As founder of Collaborate Research, I continue lead all of our projects and work with a network of senior associates and specialist suppliers to deliver larger assignments.
As our name suggests, collaboration is our central ethos and we apply this to how we engage with our clients, colleagues and research participants.
We pride ourselves on providing robust and insightful evidence that helps the organisations we work with to make better decisions.
About
I am seasoned social and market research practitioner whose 30 years of experience spans a wide range of methods, audiences and contexts. I started my started my career in Australia and recently returned there after working at a senior level in the UK for more than 20 years.
For the past 12 years, I have my own successful agency, providing policy-focused research and consultancy services to public sector and not-for-profit organisations. Previously, I worked at Director level for a number of leading research houses, both in the UK and Australia.
I have specialist skills in deliberative research, engaging hard-to-reach and vulnerable audiences, and applying behavioural economics learning to research. Much of my recent work has focused on regulated markets such as energy, financial services and communications. However, I also have experience across a number of additional policy areas including health and social care, work and welfare, and transport and housing.
