Specifically, what will you gain from attending this session?
In this session, Prolific will be discussing the various methods used to manage its participant pool in order to ensure that all of the participants are of the highest possible quality. This will include:
- A discussion of how they onboard new participants
- The various levels of verification they enforce
- How they monitor account and pool status over time
- Why participants are removed from their pool
They will also be sharing a few tips for what you can do as a researcher to select for the best participants from Prolific.
Our Presenter: Dr Andrew Gordon
This Lunch and Learn will be led by Dr Andrew Gordon, Research Consultant at Prolific.
Dr Gordon completed a BSc in Psychology, followed by an MSc in Neuropsychology, and a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience, examining the neural underpinning of reliance on misinformation. At Prolific he works directly with researchers to make sure that they get the most out of Prolific and supports them at each stage of the research process.
