Aimed at B2B marketers, it still contains a lot of useful information for market researchers including the six principles, the obligations and potential implications of non-compliance as well as practical steps to take (including checklists, resources and timelines).
ICO Overview of the GDPR which goes through the principles, what to consider as well as outlines the individuals' rights under the new legislation. They have also produced a guide which outliens 12 steps to take now in order to be prepared.
The MRS has created a 'fair data' website and quality mark which deals with all of the issues that GDPR throws up. There is a cost to obtaining the Fair Data mark, but the process does make sure that you are totally compliant. the website also has some other resources that are free to use such as Top Ten Tips for GDPR, as well 10 core principles and a useful timeline.
