ICG London Christmas Party 2016

Lucie did us all proud yet again with another great choice of venue at The Dingle Whiskey Bar, Porterhouse, Covent Garden a pub that brews its own beers and has a whisky bar that stocks over 200 whiskies – enough choice for anyone!

As usual it  was wonderful to chat with friends and colleagues old and new and the relaxed nature of the buffet style lunch allowed a bit more freedom to mingle than the usual sit down Christmas dinner.  The food and drink were plentiful and delicious and the venue was really interesting with several bars laid out over different levels.

The topic on everyone's lips was the fantastic news of the Hope and Anchor’s big win at the MRS annual awards dinner which has really put the ICG on the map.  Our Chair Theresa Hadfield was particularly and rightfully proud of this.

A few die-hards were left at the end of the event to 'tidy up' the last of the wine – I am a little surprised that it does seem to always include myself, Lucy, Theresa, Kenteas and ex-member Richard Gush – martyrs to the cause!
