Online reporting tools and dashboards are increasingly in demand by clients; they allow research findings to be accessible online and shared amongst a wide client audience. They can be used to raise the profile of insight within an organisation (and the research organisation delivering the data!).

Although mainly used for quantitative data, online reporting tools are now able to display qualitative data generated through online communities and social media analysis as well as traditional qualitative methods.
