This session is designed to be a layperson’s overview of how pensions work – and how they compare to other investments.  It will cover the basics of pensions (what they are and what they are not), how they are treated for tax purposes (both individually and for Limited companies & partnerships), the limits surrounding contributions and the rules about accessing your money.  It will also attempt to show the difference between pensions and other investment options (for example, ISAs).
