Congratulations to ICG member John Storey for being a Finalist for this year’s BHBIA BOBI award for his segmentation model using Python and AI:

Transforming Patient Insights: A Secure, Symbiotic AI and Python Framework for Ethical Physician Behaviour Segmentation

About BHBIA

The British Healthcare Business Intelligence Association is a market research organisation that focusses on Pharma Medical Healthcare business Intelligence.

BOBI: Best of Business Intelligence

John submitted under their Best Use Of Ai category and competed against large agencies.

The Model

John used the complex Alzheimer’s therapy area as a test development case, to see how Physicians segment on prescription preferences of the new and upcoming Disease Modifying Drugs. He has since also used and tested this for charity and consumer categories.

He did this for the industry and out of interest and frustration to see if Ai could be used well in Segmentation.

To this end it uses Python for the rigor and consistency for the advanced calculations in Correlation, Factoring and Cluster Analysis necessary in Segmentation. He found some AI to be inconsistent and sometimes hallucinated figures, as well as presenting a security risk when used publicly. So he used secure AI (locked in model) to interpret the analysis and develop humanised factors and clusters and persona profiles.

Executive Summary:

From this work John has created a free webapp of this model and invites ICG
